Bourbon Barrel Stout Candied Bacon
1 pound of Thick Cut Bacon
1/3 cup Bourbon Barrel Stout Beer Syrup
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place bacon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and glaze both sides with the Bourbon Barrel Stout Beer Syrup. Place in the oven for 20 minutes and then remove to flip the bacon and glaze both sides before placing back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes depending on how crispy you prefer the bacon. Once removed, drain away the grease and quickly place the candied bacon on separate parchment paper to cool for 1 hour. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
